چکیده
Nowadays knee joint pain is a major public health issue and for an appropriate treatment option, it important to have clear understanding of the cause as well identify exact location pain. In initial evaluation acute pain, radiological findings help physicians in taking decisions regarding treatment. Besides conventional radiography computed tomography (CT), Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) often used diagnose reason problems. This study tried evaluate common MRI patients with painful joints. The sample population comprised 77 outpatients had age range between 14 66 years, representing male 70.13% Female 29.87%. shows that maximum numbers were 26-30 years group, which exposed young people are more affected this study, found effusion most pathology frequently 59.74% followed by meniscus injury 53.24%, anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tear 36.06%, Lateral 16.88%, Posterior (PCL) 7.8%, Bone marrow contusion 22.07%, Osteoarthritis12.98%, Medial collateral (MCL) 3.89%, Ligament (LCL) 0%, Fracture 6.49%, Chondromalacia1.3%, Baker cyst 1.3%. Though can be diagnosed other modalities, provide strong evidence support one.

MRI Findings in Patients with TMJ Click
Introduction: It has been shown that joint click, an initial and common finding in internal derangement (ID), respond to neither conservative treatment nor surgical intervention. This raises the question as to whether it must be treated in the absence of other pertinent signs and symptoms, so the aim of this study was to investigate and compare the MRI findings of TMJ in both normal subjects an...
متن کاملMRI findings in the painful poststroke shoulder.
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE We describe the structural abnormalities in the painful shoulder of stroke survivors and their relationships to clinical characteristics. Method- Eighty-nine chronic stroke survivors with poststroke shoulder pain underwent T1- and T2-weighted multiplanar, multisequence MRI of the painful paretic shoulder. All scans were reviewed by one radiologist for the following abnorm...
متن کاملStructural Findings in the Brain MRI of Patients with Acute Carbon Monoxide Poisoning
Background: Carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning may lead to hypoxic/anoxic injury and eventually ischemic encephalopathy. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) has a well-recognized role in assessment of the severity of brain damage caused by CO poisoning. In this study, we aimed to present and analyze the structural abnormalities in the brain MRI and especially in diffusion weighted MRI (DWI) images in ...
متن کاملAssessment of Correlation Between MRI and Arthroscopic Pathologic Findings in the Shoulder Joint
Background: The objective of this study was to determine the diagnostic value of magnetic resonance imaging for shoulder joint pathologies and then compare the results with arthroscopy, the standard for joint diagnosis. Methods: In this cross-sectional study, 80 patients with shoulder joint disorders, who underwent final arthroscopy, were studied. Based on patients’ medical history and physic...
